We follow the same competitors till the end of the week, so the audience are able to get to know and form an attachment with the competitors. What makes this program interesting is we get to see how each competitor behaves each night. Since there is usually some sort of drama due to clashing personalities. There are a various amounts of locations making the show more interesting, because it is better if we see the competitors in their natural environment. The narrator makes the show amusing for the audience to watch.

The hotel inspector

Throughout the show there is multiple dramas such as the hotel owner is not agreeing with the hotel inspector or completely ignores her. This provides entainment for the audience. Also it is interesting to see the transformation of the hotel and to see if the hotel is still going or not many months later. Furthermore I like how the program starts such as it gives a wide shot of the area and gives us background information so we know where the hotel is located.

This program was originally on channel 4. This show contains a series of challenges which the volunteers must over come whilst they this happens they are assessed by 3 judges. This is relatively interesting because this can change people's perception on people with mental illness. In addition it can give confidence to people with mental illnesses. There are a various amount of shots due to the stage's large location but the different shots allows the audience to see the larger picture.

Embarrassing bodies  

This program is very informative despite it's graphic content nevertheless this program can be relate able to the audience, and perhaps give the audience confidence to go to a doctor is they have similar problems. In addition this program provides facts which can dispel myths.

I like how captures peoples emotions right in the moment meaning the audience can empathize with them. This type of program cannot be staged otherwise the audience would notice. Therefore the cameraman has to be in the right place and right time in order to capture the event. There are lots of creative shots here, this helps keep the show interesting and they are need just in case to things are happening at the same time. This helps the audience keep up with events.

Cooks to market

With this program we stay with the same competitors till the end of the series. This gives the audience a chance to attach to the characters and sympathise with them if something goes wrong. There seems to be parts of the show where there is hand handle camera this gives the show a more real effect as if the audience is there.

BBC news

The BBC provides facts and is straight to the point. There is no messing around which is one of the reasons why I watch it. When they are presenting the news they usually have interviews and real life footage. This is so the audience knows the BBC are not making these stories up. They don't just do news in Britain but all over the world meaning there is a wide variety of locations. After they have present the news live they usually post it on their website in article form accompanied by a few videos.

Besides being educational and providing useful information. by using real life experiences it cam make the show more relate able. I like how it goes into some sort of x-ray function in order to demonstrate what the narrator is saying. Furthermore this program usually uses the x-ray function whilst the character is in motion so you get to see all the joints and muscles move keeping the audience interested. Also it states and improves quotes that most people wouldn't believe.

Usually this is based on one episode per a house. However people a that watch the series over a long period of time get a chance so see some of the houses revisited like in this episode. I enjoy this because some house are not complete by the end of the episode so we get some sort of conclusion. I do like the various camera work that appears throughout the show. It seems with this episode the producer was trying to create an eerily feel due to the fact these people were trying to restore a castle.

Top gear - Botswana Special

This particular episode caught my interest because it was set outside the typical studio environment. Due to the fact it was outside the studio meant that there is no way Top gear could have staged the event because they couldn't control the unpredictable weather and nature itself. In addition the challenge was rather interesting and there were sure to be many obstacles. Furthermore it is clear this is a one off event meaning that it's not something that is going to happen again meaning they would have to get it right first time, and this make people tune in.
